- Interpret and report ultrasound imaging studies across various modalities, including MSK, vascular, abdominal, obstetric, and small parts imaging.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic reporting.
- Perform ultrasound-guided pain management procedures (preferred but not required).
- Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
- Demonstrated expertise in ultrasound imaging, including MSK and vascular studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ultrasound-guided pain management is an asset.

- Provision of general diagnostic imaging consultation services at both sites of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital
- Preferred competencies in:
- CT; abdomen/pelvic, chest, musculoskeletal, neuro including angiogram.
- Ultrasound; general and vascular.
- Breast Imaging; ultrasound, mammogram, biopsies/ needle localization.
- Bone Mineral Density (BMD)Testing.
- General Radiology
- Additional interventional skills are desirable
- Independent Registration with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
