Back By Popular Demand – The ILD Masterclass Has Returned!
The Canadian Society of Thoracic Radiology (CSTR) is thrilled to welcome back attendees for another three-part Masterclass series to improve the Canadian radiology community’s knowledge of Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). This new series aims to build on the practical applications and imaging guidelines, focus on pathologies and concepts as well as provide insights into key clinical and imaging features of ILD that can be applied in everyday practice.
Join Dr. Cameron Hague and moderator Dr. Elsie T. Nguyen on September 26th for the first installment of this series, Alphabet Soup: ILAs, PPF and PF-ILDs. This 1-hour session will provide an overview of some of the newer acronyms that are not being used in the description and workup of ILD on HRCT. This session will discuss how and when to use these terms in your reporting of HRCT and examine how to effectively and accurately determine if a fibrotic lung disease is progressing. Finally, we will delve into some of the controversies and pitfalls in this developing area of lung imaging.
