Body & Breast Imaging Radiologist NIAGARA HEALTH   The Department of Radiology at Niagara Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Body and Breast Imaging radiologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging Service for a start date in 2024/25. The candidate will join a team of 30 radiologists. NH is a campus of McMaster University and candidates will be expected to be eligible for academic appointment. As a full-time member within the Department of Radiology, the successful candidate will promote clinical excellence and have a strong commitment to support the NH vision and mission. The successful candidate will participate in all departmental quality initiatives as well as support our academic objectives. As a Body and Breast Imager the successful candidate will collaborate with a highly efficient team supporting NH clinical programs. The successful candidate is expected to have experience in breast related image guided procedures. NH and the department are going through a period of rapid change including recent PACS and voice recognition renewal, new HIS and expansion of the CT and MRI programs. The department has played an integral part in the planning for a new South Niagara acute care Hospital site. The successful candidate will be expected to be a supportive team player, with a strong commitment to patient care and quality improvement. The successful candidate will hold certification in Diagnostic Radiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or international equivalent. DeGroote School of Medicine. Current Group 30 Radiologists, including 4 interventional Radiologists, servicing 3 hospitals and two community centers (PCS & FES). The radiology group is expanding to better serve the hospital clinical needs. The radiologists provide on call service to all three hospital sites. The Practice The Department currently has three clinical MR scanners, including a state-of the -art new 3T MR. 4 CT scanners and multiple Ultrasound units. The successful candidate is expected to provide expertise and support along with the other members for Breast Imaging, fluoroscopy, US, CT, X-Ray and MRI. The department is committed to supporting the hospitals mission and values with a priority on quality patient imaging. Academic Affiliations The McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine has expanded to a regional campus in Niagara. Students at the Niagara Regional Campus complete their clinical rotations in one of the six area hospitals.  The department supports undergraduate and postgraduate learners and has launched a successful Radiology Fellowship program. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent or eligible for Independent CPSO License
• Candidate should have a fellowship in Body and Breast imaging
• Eligible for OBSP affiliation
• Strong interpretive skills in all imaging modalities including Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-Ray
• Excellent clinical skills are a prerequisite for this high-volume department
• Candidate must have experience in basic CT and US guided procedures as well as Breast biopsies and lesion localization under all modalities.
• Must have a strong interest and/or existing background in academic radiology
• Be eligible for academic appointment
• Hold a valid OHIP billing number and have billing privileges

      BODY IMAGING RADIOLOGIST – HAMILTON GENERAL SITE Hamilton General Hospital is a large tertiary referral centre, with a busy Level 1 trauma centre.  Applicants must possess skills that will enhance our tertiary imaging team and multi-disciplinary programs. The University and Hospital Departments require a highly motivated body imaging radiologist who has expertise in all areas of body imaging including radiography, ultrasound, body CT and body MR. The body imaging service at Hamilton General supports a variety of general and tertiary level subspecialty medical and surgical services The position involves scheduling for clinical work, subspecialty and teaching rounds, encompassing assignments in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as participation in the Department on-call body imaging schedule.  Collaboration with colleagues on improved body imaging protocols, quality control initiatives and training of technologists is expected.  Candidates must have completed specialty training in radiology, with the ideal applicant completing a fellowship in body imaging or equivalent. The Hamilton General Hospital radiology association consists of 30 subspecialty trained radiologists overseeing tertiary care practice and a diverse community independent health facility (IHF) practice.  The association offers flexible percentage FTE status for interested applicants.  Our practice model offers hybrid reporting options with mixture of on-site and remote reporting opportunities to allow for flexible scheduling. Radiologist Specializing in Women's Health – Edmonton’s Community-Based Diagnostic Imaging Clinic Job type: Flexible, Full-time, Part-time Location: Edmonton, Alberta MDSearch​​ is looking for a Radiologist with a focus in women’s health to join a physician-owned and operated community-based Diagnostic Imaging clinic in Edmonton. The clinic specializes in performing obstetrical ultrasound in a trauma-informed way, with a focus on women’s health and openness to expanding their services in this area. The successful candidate must be passionate about improving the standards of care for women and helping to change the way that imaging is provided to women in our communities. This is a community practice accredited as a Diagnostic Imaging facility with the CPSA (billed fee for service with Alberta Health). The successful candidate will work alongside OBGYNs/Maternal-Fetal Medicine subspecialists and MFM trained sonographers and nursing staff. The Women’s Health Imaging Specialist will be responsible for reviewing ultrasound images, reporting the findings, and consulting with patients as indicated within scope of practice. Additional tasks are needed as per the CPSA standards of practice. This position is more than for women's health imaging. As a new clinic looking to expand and building new spaces, the clinic is searching partnership with radiologist to increase the scope of services offered.
