- Vocationally registered in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- FRANZCR or equivalent qualification and be able to register for vocational registration with the MCNZ
- Have completed a fellowship or extensive experience in Paediatric Radiology
- Experienced in diagnostic radiology services including but not limited to:
- Plain films, Fluoroscopic and special procedures, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Angiography
- On call component
- Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
- Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care
- Relevant experience and training

SCMH is the provincial tertiary care center for ENT, Breast, Thoracic and Vascular surgery and is also a teaching hospital affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Medicine and their Radiology Residency training program giving opportunities for research and teaching to the incumbent. This radiology group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, Mammography, Angio-interventional, Fluoroscopy and General radiology, with a full scope of image guided procedures. The successful candidate will be expected to work as a general radiologist but not necessarily in all the areas listed above. If the candidate has additional specialty training in any field, these skills would be of an added benefit and utilized. There is a call expectation as well and responsibilities are shared with the Radiology Resident - Core services include general radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI and basic interventional radiology. Breast imaging is also provided as a service and would be open to candidates with appropriate training and experience. Ability to perform non-vascular interventional procedures such as percutaneous abscess drainage would be an asset. Fellowship training would also be an asset. Rotating coverage includes off-site home reporting. The primary location is Belleville General Hospital, which lies between the beautiful Counties of Hastings and the vineyard region of Prince Edward County.
