Territorial Medical Director

The TMD functions in a collaborative Dyad partnership with the Executive Director of Clinical Integration, forming the Executive Clinical Dyad with a focus on effective interprofessional care, quality and outcomes of health services. The TMD provides leadership to designated NWT practitioner leaders who report directly to the TMD, as well as to the Office of Medical Affairs and Credentialing (OMAC) for the purposes of physician resource planning, recruitment and retention, and implementation and administration of aspects of the NTHSSA Medical and Professional Staff Bylaws. The Annual Salary range for a full-time Family Physician ranges from $262,992 to $350,656 in gross earnings plus $52,792 - $65,942 for benefits. Annual Salary range for a full-time Specialist ranges from $389,639 to $446,423 in gross earnings plus $71,789 - $80,307 in annual benefits. General Radiologist: Full-Time and Locum Quinte Health is seeking one or two well-diversified full-time/permanent general radiologists to join the Department of Diagnostic Imaging (DI) and its team of 13 radiologists. Core services include general radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI and basic interventional radiology. Breast imaging is also provided as a service and would be open to candidates with appropriate training and experience.  Ability to perform non-vascular interventional procedures such as percutaneous abscess drainage would be an asset. The Timmins and District Hospital (TADH) is recruiting for a full-time or part-time Radiologist to join our innovative, multi-disciplinary referral and teaching hospital in Timmins, Ontario, located in Northeastern Ontario. About the Timmins and District Hospital TADH is a 154-bed referral and teaching hospital. It offers multidisciplinary care in the areas of emergency, medical, surgical, critical care, maternity, newborn, pediatric, long-term care, and mental health services. TADH provides care to a catchment population of approximately 115,000 people. The Diagnostic Imaging Department is equipped with a fluoroscopy suite, several ultrasound machines, a 320 slice Canon CT and a 1.5T Siemens MRI unit. The department offers some minor non-vascular interventional services, which are assigned along with other diagnostic studies on a rotational basis. If not trained, willingness to participate and obtain training for CT colonography and BMD certification will be considered an asset. The Timmins and District Hospital supports approximately 95,000 annual diagnostic exams. TADH radiologists practice in a true consultative manner with the referring physicians and communities. Remote reading from outside of Timmins is not part of our practice. Position Requirements

        The Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) is seeking a fellowship trained Musculoskeletal radiologist for a full‐time position to join the Musculoskeletal Imaging Section. The candidate will serve the three campuses of The Ottawa Hospital, the core adult teaching hospital for the University of Ottawa, as well as affiliated community hospitals and ancillary programs. As a Section Member, the successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a highly efficient team for providing dedicated musculoskeletal expertise supporting strong programs in ER/trauma, orthopaedic surgery, oncology, rheumatology, physiatry and sports medicine. Broad diagnostic musculoskeletal skills in all modalities including radiography, ultrasound, CT and MRI are required. Proficiency to perform a wide range of image guided interventional procedures including biopsies, aspirations, arthrograms and spine injections is required. The Department of Radiology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics comprises 66 Radiologists, 22 Radiation Oncologists, 18 Medical Physicists, 4 scientists (with skills in virtual reality, imaging processing and artificial intelligence), 1 educationalist, 34 radiology residents, and 26 radiology fellows. The Department has an established record of recognized excellence in postgraduate, graduate, and undergraduate Medical Imaging education. The Department oversees a Preclinical Imaging Core equipped with 7T MRI, Ultrasound, and PET-CT facilitating basic science research. The latter will also be given an Associate Member position at the McGill University Health Centre and an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or above. As part of Nunavik’s contract with the MUHC, this position includes administrative responsibility for the management of the Medical Imaging Services in Nunavik (Québec health region 17). Most of the clinical assignment will be at the MUHC and will focus on thoracic radiology as well as general radiology at the Lachine campus. This faculty position will be under the contractual academic staff and does not confer tenure eligibility. The ideal candidate for this position would bring a combination of thoracic radiology and general radiology skills, and an interest in administration/management. The successful candidate will be integrated into the Thoracic/Cardiac Imaging section of the MUHC as well as the Lachine Campus. Clinical responsibilities will include specialized thoracic practice (Montréal General Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital and Nunavik) as well as some general radiology practice at the Lachine Hospital (MUHC pavilion). She/he is expected to cover shifts in X-rays and CT (Emergency, Intensive Care and Outpatient) and to perform CT guided procedures (biopsies). In addition, the PEM-PRO position includes administrative responsibilities for the management of the Medical Imaging Services in Region 17, where there are radiology and ultrasound services. On-call responsibilities will be carried out at the MUHC. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to interact closely with referring clinicians regarding clinical work and multidisciplinary conferences (CTU, ILD, Thoracic Tumor Board and Respirology rounds). She/he will also be expected to teach technologists, students, residents and fellows and demonstrate a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all areas. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Requirements

• Must be eligible for medical licensure in the province of Québec with specialization in diagnostic radiology.
• Completion of at least one year of fellowship training in Thoracic Imaging.
• Demonstrated ability to read general emergency radiology studies in addition to those in their area of subspecialty.
• Valid professional practice liability coverage through CMPA or equivalent.
• A reputation for professionalism and integrity.
• Good professional standing in all practice jurisdictions.
• Bilingual language skills (French and English) are required. Candidates should be able to interact in English and in French with patients, families and health care professionals.
