Call for Abstracts

All members and nonmembers alike are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the CAR 2018 Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place April 26-29, 2018 at Le Centre Sheraton in Montreal.

Authors selected to present their abstracts at the meeting will have the opportunity to network and discuss their research with experts in the field.

New for 2018

New Category - The Value of Radiology Projects - Submissions in this category are informative exhibits designed to review known or emerging facts related specifically to the value of radiology. One of the main goals of this new category is to encourage the radiology community to think more deeply about the services they provide and the level of active positive engagement they have within the healthcare system. The category includes an oral presentation component, and is open to both trainees and staff radiologists.

New Format - In 2018, the Scientific Research Project may be either in an electronic/poster format with or without a 10-minute oral presentation (8 minutes + 2 minutes Q&A). The oral presentation is open to staff radiologists as well as trainees.

This new format will greatly enhance the reach of the oral presentations that are part of the Meeting while better integrating topical and relevant content into appropriate tracks. Ultimately, the new format will ensure that the authors are given the opportunity to present their work to larger audiences of their peers, thus garnering their work with the respect that it deserves.
