Renew your membership – 2017

Why is a strong membership so crucial at this time? There is mounting public and government concern around access to quality health care, and the sustainability of our current system. It is absolutely critical that we have a strong national association looking out for the interests of our profession and the health of Canadians. In order to influence our future, we need radiologists to speak on behalf of radiologists. The CAR needs you!

Log in to renew your CAR Membership today! If your online access needs to be reactivated, please send an email to membership@car.ca.

To renew an existing CAR membership, you may also:

  • Pay directly through online banking. This is available with Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC, Scotiabank and TD. Use ‘Radio’ to search the payee. Your CAR membership number is your account number.
  • Complete and mail the membership renewal form along with credit card details or cheque to our mailing address. If paying by credit card, you may also fax the completed form to 613 860-3112 or scan and email to membership@car.ca.
  • Call the CAR Membership Coordinator at 613 860-3111 ext. 0.

If you are not sure whether you have already renewed your 2016 CAR membership, please contact the CAR at 613 860-3111 ext. 0 or at membership@car.ca.

Important notice to radiologists practicing in Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia or Quebec

In order to deliver maximum benefit to its members, and recognizing the complementary roles that a national body and provincial bodies play in serving Canadian radiologists, the CAR has entered a Reciprocal Membership agreement with the provincial radiology associations from Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia and Quebec whereby radiologists practicing in these provinces must become members of both organizations to be members of either.

If you are a radiologist practicing in one of these provinces, please contact your provincial radiology association to find out about payment procedures in order to join both organizations or to renew your existing membership. If you are not sure whether you have already renewed your membership, please check with your provincial association.
