Earlier this month Nanos Research conducted a public opinion poll regarding Radiologists. The purpose was to gauge the public’s perception of radiologists in Canada. Canadians across the country were asked six specific questions pertaining to their understanding of radiologists and medical imaging needs in Canada.
They were also asked about Artificial Intelligence and if they would support an investment in research from government. The survey was intended to raise awareness but also to provide education on the profession and key issues with medical imaging in Canada. One key finding was that nearly all Canadians say that the work of radiologists in our health care system is valuable. These results will be shared through an interactive webinar on the Learning Management System, RAD Academy in October as well as at the next Annual Scientific Meeting. Stay tuned for additional details.
