The CAR is thrilled to announce its new Affiliate Society, the Canadian Society of Skeletal Radiology (CSSR), and delighted to introduce the esteemed Dr. Viviane Khoury as the inaugural President of the CSSR.

Dr. Khoury, a distinguished musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologist based in Montreal, brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to lead the CSSR. Currently in clinical practice of diagnostic and interventional radiology, she has previously practiced in English and French in large academic settings across Canada and abroad. Her experience has provided her with a wide range of perspectives and an appreciation of the unique culture of MSK imaging in this country.
Dr. Khoury is enthusiastic about starting this new venture.
“I am delighted and honoured to be named inaugural president,” she said. “I am excited about putting Canadian MSK radiology on the map in a more structured way, maintaining MD-driven standards in today's healthcare environment, and hopefully encouraging medical trainees to choose the specialty.”
She is especially eager for the chance to share her knowledge and experience with peers in her subspecialty.
“My career in MSK radiology has been exciting and challenging so far. I’m fortunate to have trained and worked with talented colleagues and mentors in excellent academic institutions,” said Dr. Khoury. “These experiences have allowed me to forge positive professional connections with the local and international MSK radiology communities, which I believe will position me well to serve the CSSR as president.”
