A new platform to make accrediting your facility seamless and streamlined is now online. The newly developed CAR Accreditation website is a central hub for everything needed to know about becoming an accredited institution. It is now easier than ever to onboarding your facility and staff to any of our existing accreditation programs and those that are up and coming:
- Mammography
- CT
- MRI – in development
- Lung cancer screening – in development
- Ultrasound/sonography – in development
Becoming an accredited facility has immeasurable benefits for your institution. By enrolling and completing a certification program, your institution will be able to:

In addition to the website, the CAR has built a new mammography imaging library to help radiologists maintain their certification. This valuable resource will provide access to an extensive library of mammography images that can be used to fulfill minimum volume requirements for the Mammography Accreditation Program (MAP). Radiologists taking part in the MAP can receive complimentary access by contacting us for an access code.
