Clinical Practice Guideline modules
“The CAR Incidental Findings Working Group recently published our second set of guidelines in the CARJ, and an associated interactive learning module is now available through RAD Academy entitled Recommendations for the Management of Incidental Hepatobiliary Findings in Adults. This CPD module will guide you through our recommended algorithms for dealing with incidental hepatic masses found on both ultrasound and CT, with interactive case discussions afterwards that will help consolidate the information. The module also reviews the guidelines on the identification of hepatic steatosis and cirrhosis, the management of gallbladder wall calcification, wall thickening and polyps, and finally when to diagnose biliary dilatation. This CPD activity is a beautifully presented way to gain confidence in dealing with commonly encountered clinical scenarios while at the same time earning credit towards your Royal College Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program.”
