An exciting lineup of members of the radiology community is preparing to present their ideas and research at the CAR’s Annual Scientific Meeting in 2022 – The Radiologist-Clinician: Putting the Patient at the Centre of Care. Registration is now open for Canada’s premiere radiology event running April 7-10, 2022.
Plenary Session speakers include:
- Frank Miller – MRI of Pancreatic Cystic Lesions and Malignancy: Assessment, Guidelines and the Field Defect
- Aaron Sodickson – Dual Energy CT: How it Works, and How it Adds Value in the ER Setting
- David Lynch – High Resolution CT of the Chest: What Have We Learned?
- Mary-Louise Greer – Pediatric Cancer Screening
- Robert Shih – Paragangliomas of the Head, Neck, and Spine
Dr. Charlotte Yong-Hing is part of the team presenting the virtual Trainee Day Plenary Session: Ergonomics. She says this is a key issue of focus for radiologists because of how much time radiologists spend at their workstations. “We are facing increasing case volume and fewer breaks. The requirement to perform complex, prolonged mouse pointing and use of handheld dictation devices increases the complexity of our ergonomic needs.”
Registrants will have access to all plenary sessions and accredited educational sessions, the CAR Awards ceremony, and recorded content after the event including electronic posters.
