Join us for CAR 2024 and Experience Montréal!

November 23, 2023

The CAR is delighted to have Montréal as the host city for CAR 2024. Not only will you be able to experience a world-class historic city, but you will also be able to earn Royal College MOC credits for participating in the inspiring educational sessions developed for the CAR 2024 program. With plenty of breaks and shorter days, take advantage of all that Montreal has to offer!

Featured Session Highlights – A Hands-On Workshop and Renowned Plenary Speakers

Developed in consultation with the CAR Affiliate Societies, this year’s program features educational sessions from a variety of subspecialty areas including cardio-thoracic radiology, abdominal radiology, emergency and trauma radiology, and pediatric radiology.

On Thursday, April 11, start your journey towards enhancing your radiology practice. CAR 2024 kicks off with Mastering ER Radiology: Accurate Diagnoses and Timely Decision-Making. This hands-on, interactive, case-based workshop will feature dedicated training focused on emergent pathology and will provide practical problem-solving tools to facilitate precise and timely diagnoses to accelerate decision making. Designed for practicing radiologists, the 1-day workshop is structured to simulate real-case reporting and will focus on common pathologies, as well as include an emphasis on pitfalls and missed diagnoses.

The series of plenary sessions begins on Friday, April 12 with outstanding speakers from across North America. Dr. Manickam Nicks Kumaravel from UT Health in Houston, Texas gets the morning started with his lecture Musculoskeletal Infection. The afternoon plenary session from Dr. Bachir Taouli, Icahn School of Medicine in Mount Sinai, New York, focuses on abdominal radiology with his lecture entitled Non-invasive Detection of Liver Fibrosis with Quantitative Imaging Methods. On Saturday, April 13, Dr. Peter Kranz of Duke University and Dr. Kate Hanneman of the University of Toronto will deliver plenary sessions entitled Spontaneous Intracranial Hypertension: What the Radiologist Needs to Know and Environmental Sustainability in Radiology, respectively. Closing out the weekend on Sunday, April 14 is Dr. John Lichtenberger of the ACR Institute for Radiologic Pathology and his lecture Best Cases of the AIRP: Cardiac.
