Thanks to an exciting international education partnership, contributions to radiology from the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology’s (SERAM) online journal Espacio editorial virtual are available to CAR members on RAD Academy.
The CAR has partnered with SERAM to provide access to articles from their online journal exclusively to CAR members on a quarterly basis.
“Not only will radiologists now have access to international content, but this partnership will also provide a platform for Canadian research to be highlighted globally,” said Dr. Michael Patlas, CAR Journal Editor-in-Chief.
The partnership is a brainchild of CAR Board Member and CARJ Associate Editor Dr. Carlos Torres. Dr. Patlas says academic work is shared reciprocally between the two organizations.
“Every quarter we send members of SERAM two papers published by the CARJ, usually CAR guidelines. We reciprocate and share two papers from Spain with our membership. SERAM has similar relationships with multiple international radiological societies including RSNA and ARRS.”
Building international educational relationships is important, says to Dr. Patlas, because they present a great opportunity to disseminate knowledge, build bridges, and advance the CAR’s international network.
