Recognizing Canada’s unique social milieu, legislation and legal environment, population diversity and healthcare access, the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging (CSBI) was formed in order to guide Canadian radiologists, allied healthcare specialists, family physicians as well as patients and educators.
The CSBI intends to work towards quality improvement, education and promotion of breast imaging across Canada. As part of that mandate it will be providing breast CME opportunities and showcasing Canadian research and education.
It is our hope that Canadian radiologists and allied healthcare providers will engage in and be guided by collaboration and education opportunities within the Society.
The inaugural scientific meeting of the CSBI will feature world-renowned breast radiologist, Dr. Etta Pisano, as well as numerous educational opportunities led by Canadian breast imaging authorities. These will include talks, panel discussions and workshops. Topics will include current knowledge and controversies as well as expert led workstation sessions on newer technologies.
By bringing together Canadian breast imagers and other breast healthcare providers in a national alliance, we hope to make Canada a world leader in breast imaging and patient care. Please consider joining us in this exciting endeavor.
