There are two great opportunities to learn through hands-on experience at CAR 2025.
Part of this year’s educational highlights are a pair of interactive workshops that give participants the chance to use current tools and interpret images with the experts on Thursday, April 3.
Navigating Stroke Care: A Comprehensive Guide to Imaging, Classification, and Case Analysis
8am-12pm ET
This workshop focuses on an in-depth review of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, stroke mimics, and pediatric strokes.
Through hands-on PACS case reviews and didactic lectures, participants will gain practical knowledge and improve their ability to interpret strokes and make critical decisions for diagnosis and treatment.
"Participants can look forward to an engaging and interactive experience that combines expert-led lectures with hands-on PACS case reviews, offering practical insights into the complexities of stroke imaging and management," said speaker and workshop leader Dr. Eduardo Portela De Oliveira.
"Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of stroke imaging, including the latest advances in diagnosing ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, recognizing stroke mimics, and managing pediatric strokes. They will gain valuable skills to enhance clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes."

Introduction to Interventional Breast Imaging and AI: Hands-On Workshop
1-4pm ET
"The workshop is designed to give participants an overview of new technologies that have been introduced into clinical practice and their impact on work flow and patient care," said speaker and workshop leader Dr. Supriya Kulkarni.
"More specifically participants will have a chance to use new localization tools like newer vacuum assisted biopsy tools, post biopsy clips, and more. There is also a section on AI tools currently being used for mammography. After attending this faculty led, hands-on workshop, participants will be able to update their practices with new tools to enhance patient care."
Attendees will have the opportunity to use the latest interactive tools for interventional breast imaging.
