Thoracic Radiologist
The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Thoracic Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.
The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in all areas of cardiac and thoracic imaging. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and USCF affiliated sites.
The position requires a MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, completion of fellowship training in thoracic imaging (completed by appointment start date), and expertise in thoracic and cardiac imaging. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5: https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2022-23/oct-2022-salary-scales/t5-summary.pdf. The minimum base salary range for this position is $135,700-$360,600. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
