Pediatric Radiologist
Sainte-Justine University Hospital – Department of Medical Imaging (Full-Time Permanent Position)
Job Description
The successful candidate will join a highly qualified team and actively participate in the center’s healthcare, teaching, and research missions, including:
• Perform and interpret pediatric and obstetric imaging examinations (radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging)
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams in patient care
• Supervise and teach residents, clinical fellows, and medical students
• Opportunities to participate in clinical or basic research projects related to pediatric and obstetric imaging
• Participate in diagnostic radiology on-call activities, based on a schedule shared among team members
Desired profile
• Physician specializing in diagnostic radiology with a minimum of one (1) year of fellowship training in pediatric radiology
• Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or recognized equivalent)
• Eligibility for licensure from the Collège des médecins du Québec
• Excellent command of French, both oral and written (working language)
• Strong interest in working in an academic environment and in an interdisciplinary team
• Commitment to the continuous improvement of care, teaching, and/or research

The ideal candidate possesses excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic rigor, and the ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families. Particular sensitivity to the needs of children and their loved ones, as well as good listening skills, empathy, and collaboration, are essential. Intellectual curiosity, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a desire to contribute to the advancement of pediatric imaging practices are also valued qualities within our team.
