Radiology Consultants of Winnipeg Medical Corporation (“Radco”) is seeking Fellowship-trained radiologists eligible for certification by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Radco is an established private radiology group based in Winnipeg. Our radiologists are affiliated with the University of Manitoba. We provide subspecialized and general radiology professional services across all modalities including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology at clinics and several Shared Health Manitoba hospitals around the

Opportunity

Vascular Interventional Radiologist-Associate – Brampton-Etobicoke-Peel

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a Vascular Interventional Radiologist-Associate

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Division of Radiology at William Osler Health System (Osler) is seeking a Vascular Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic and growing team. This position is sited at Brampton Civic Hospital, serving a diverse and rapidly expanding patient population.  Remuneration is determined by the William Osler Radiology Association (WORA) Practice Plan, which is comprised of the on-site Brampton radiologists.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) services, including:
    • Vascular Procedures:
      • Peripheral vascular disease including critical limb ischemia management, Embolizations, Dialysis access creation and maintenance (e.g., fistulograms, angioplasties, thrombectomies, catheter placements including peritoneal) and Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)
    • Body Interventions:
      • TIPS, Biliary and GI interventions, Emerging procedures such as tumor embolization and radiofrequency ablation (RFA), as part of Osler’s commitment to expanding interventional oncology services
  • Competently perform core diagnostic imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopic-guided procedures. Provide on-site and remote coverage, including inpatient and outpatient study interpretation and procedures, with participation in weekend, evening, and late-night call shifts across all Osler sites. Collaborate closely with Osler’s vascular surgeons, nephrologists, and oncologists to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Contribute to clinical education as part of Osler’s academic mandate, including supporting the training of medical students and residents from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU)

Qualifications

The candidate must have a certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) with additional fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. License to practice and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Expertise in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and interest in expanding scope of procedures at Osler. Proficiency in MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopic-guided procedures. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. Additional language proficiency is an asset given the diverse community served. Prior experience in clinical teaching or research is an asset, with opportunities for academic appointment at TMU. Radiologist (FT/PT) – Timmins

The Timmins and District Hospital (TADH) is recruiting for a full-time or part-time Radiologist to join our innovative, multi-disciplinary referral and teaching hospital in Timmins, Ontario, located in Northeastern Ontario.

About the Timmins and District Hospital
TADH is a 154-bed referral and teaching hospital. It offers multidisciplinary care in the areas of emergency, medical, surgical, critical care, maternity, newborn, pediatric, long-term care, and mental health services. TADH provides care to a catchment population of approximately 115,000 people.

The Diagnostic Imaging Department is equipped with a fluoroscopy suite, several ultrasound machines, a 320 slice Canon CT and a 1.5T Siemens MRI unit.

The department offers some minor non-vascular interventional services, which are assigned along with other diagnostic studies on a rotational basis. If not trained, willingness to participate and obtain training for CT colonography and BMD certification will be considered an asset. The Timmins and District Hospital supports approximately 95,000 annual diagnostic exams.

TADH radiologists practice in a true consultative manner with the referring physicians and communities. Remote reading from outside of Timmins is not part of our practice.

Position Requirements

  • Candidates must have Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Applicants must be eligible to be licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario and have Canadian Medical Protective Associate (CMPA) coverage
  • Established training and skills in reporting all imaging modalities including: x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to converse with clinicians and staff at different sites regarding patient care is essential

Incentives

  • The Timmins and District Hospital provides an incentive package up to $60,000 over four years.
  • Applicants are eligible for a repayable interest-free loan up to $150,000.
  • Applicants can apply for the Ministry of Health Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (N3R). The N3R Initiative includes an $84,718 incentive over a 4-year period for Canadian citizens and permanent residents who establish a practice in Timmins.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology within the School of Medicine, Queen’s Health Sciences at Queen’s University and its affiliated teaching hospitals are seeking a full-time Academic Radiologist with MD or equivalent designation and Fellowship training in Neuroradiology. The preferred candidate will exhibit strong potential for innovative and scholarly research or will have an excellent track record of high quality research output that demonstrates potential for independent research. Interest in Endovascular Interventional Procedures are also considered an asset. Interventional Neuroradiology, Advanced Brain Tumour Imaging with MR Perfusion and Spectroscopy, and Epilepsy, and Head & Neck imaging are specific targeted growth areas within the institution. With the new 3T MRI, interest in functional MRI applications would be of value. Candidates must display evidence of an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment.

With the academic component of this position, there is an expectation of participation in undergraduate medical education, residency training, and research. The successful candidate will also participate in the supervision of the Neuroradiology fellow. Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions.

Clinical responsibilities would include Lumbar punctures and Spinal Procedures, Carotid and Transcranial Dopplers, Neck U/S, CT, and MRI Reporting, including Acute Stroke CT interpretation. Advanced MRI services provide at KHSC includes MR Perfusion, MR Spectroscopy and MR CINE imaging. There is a small yet significant Head and Neck Cancer Service. The Neuroradiology Section provides Diagnostic Pediatric Neuroradiology service as well. There is a strong collaboration with specialists through Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuropathology, Ophthalmology, Neuro Genetics, Neuro Science, Brain Tumour Multidisciplinary, and Head & Neck Multidisciplinary Rounds. Participation in the Neuroradiology On-call schedule will be required.

The Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) is seeking a fellowship trained Neuroradiologist for a full‐time position to join the Diagnostic Neuroradiology Section starting in July 2025. The candidate will serve the three campuses of The Ottawa Hospital, the core adult teaching hospital for the University of Ottawa, as well as affiliated community hospitals and ancillary programs.

As part of the Neuroradiology Section, the successful candidate will be responsible to work collaboratively as part of a highly efficient team for providing dedicated Neuroradiology expertise and interpreting in-patients and out-patients studies. The candidate will require broad Neuroradiology skills in all relevant modalities, including CT (320-slice and dual energy), MRI (1.5, 3T) and carotid Doppler studies. The candidate should be able to excel at various spine procedures including vertebroplasty, rhizotomy, and spinal biopsies. Interpretation of advanced MRI Imaging techniques including perfusion, spectroscopy, DTI would also be expected from the candidate. The successful candidate will provide consultations for the full spectrum of Neurologic diseases, trauma, acute stroke, neuro-oncology and Head and Neck radiology.

They will be expected to be a supportive team player, with a strong commitment to patient care, quality improvement, research, and teaching. General Radiologist – Comox Valley and Campbell River

The Island Health Department of Medical Imaging is seeking a full time General Radiologist for the North Island hospitals Comox Valley and Campbell River.

These facilities opened in the fall of 2017 and medical Imaging services at both hospitals include general x-ray, two fixed MRI, on-site CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound and interventional procedures, all within a fully functional PACS environment. Additionally, at the Comox Valley Hospital, there is nuclear medicine service.

Eligible candidates must hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology and full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.

Ridge Meadows Hospital is part of the Fraser Health Authority, consisting of 157 acute care beds and receiving over 43,000 Emergency Room visits annually.

Call responsibilities are split amongst group members Application deadline: Rolling applications accepted. Daily duties include radiography, fluoroscopy, general ultrasound, diagnostic breast imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and a variety of image-guided procedures. Equipment currently consists of two dedicated DR radiography units, a Toshiba fixed-fluoroscopy C-arm unit, a GE portable ultrasound unit, four GE fully equipped clinical ultrasound units, a new GE 64-slice CT scanner, and a new, state-of-the-art 1.5T GE MRI unit that came into clinical service in Fall 2020. The Department is proud to be one of two early adoption sites for GE’s AIR ReconTM Deep Learning image reconstruction software.

The group emphasizes evidenced-based practice, quality, strong communication, a collegial work environment, and scheduling flexibility.

The successful candidates will be comfortable with general radiography and ultrasound, breast imaging, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, and basic interventional procedures.
