Job Summary
The Medical Imaging Program of NL Health Services, Urban Zone is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiologist. The candidate will work closely with the Neuro IR team as well as Neurology and Neurosurgery. There will be full participation with the Provincial Code Stroke Program.

The successful candidate will join a group of 40 Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians located in St. John’s providing tertiary care services to the local community and province. The group practice is affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Medicine and their Radiology Residency training program giving opportunities for research and teaching.

This radiology group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, fluoroscopy and general X-ray, with a full scope of vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures, including supporting a busy Cancer Clinic. The Nuclear Medicine department offers the full array of services including 2 PET CT’s. Services are provided in a hybrid setting of in hospital and work from home options. In addition, this city based group provides support to rural sites and occasional travel may be required.

The successful candidate is expected to have post residency fellowship training in Neuro IR and will work providing service primarily in diagnostic and interventional Neuro Radiology with some general Radiology as well. There is a call expectation as well and responsibilities are shared with the Radiology Residents with an option to perform some call duties from home.

The successful candidate will join a group of 40 Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians located in St. John’s providing tertiary care services to the local community and province. The group practice is affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Medicine and their Radiology Residency training program giving opportunities for research and teaching.

This radiology group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, fluoroscopy and general X-ray, with a full scope of vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures, including supporting a busy Cancer Clinic. This is a great opportunity to join a well established practice of passionate and highly skilled radiologists, while living in a medium sized city which offers a fantastic balance of outdoor activities, culture and a great food scene.

The successful candidate will join a group of 40 Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians located in St. John’s providing tertiary care services to the local community and province. The group practice is affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Medicine and their Radiology Residency training program giving opportunities for research and teaching.

This radiology group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, Mammography, Angio interventional, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy and general radiology, with a full scope of image guided procedures.

The successful candidate will be expected to have fellowship training in body imaging and will work as a general radiologist with subspecialty exposure. There is a call expectation as well and responsibilities are shared with the Radiology Residents – currently call is approximately 1 in 12 (will change as staffing levels fluctuate), with an option to perform most call duties from home.
