Dr. Ohle, an emergency physician at Health Science North, Sudbury, is requesting your participation in a multi-disciplinary survey of emergency medicine physicians, cardiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons and radiologists titled: a clinical prediction rule for acute aortic dissection: a multi-disciplinary national survey.
The main objectives of the survey are to assess anticipated use of risk scores for acute aortic dissection and face validity as well as define the risk strata for low, medium and high for acute aortic dissection and define management priorities at different risk strata.

The first 200 respondents will receive a $5 gift card for Tim Hortons.
We estimate that 600 physicians will be enrolled in the study from across Canada. The entire study will last approximately three months and your participation is completely voluntary. If you decide to participate, you have the right to withdraw consent at any point. You can withdraw from the study by not submitting or completing the survey. Once the survey has been submitted, we cannot withdraw your data from the study as participant anonymization will have already occurred.
Your reply will be kept strictly confidential. All information collected during your participation in this study will be anonymous and will not contain information that identifies you, such as your name or email address. You have the option of including your email address for the sole purpose of receiving a gift card for first 200 respondents.
