CETARS
- Drive the appropriate, proper, and safe use of emergency, trauma, and acute radiological services in patient-centered care
- Lead the development and updating of emergency imaging guidelines, standards, and appropriateness criteria
- Provide access to medical education in the practice of emergency radiology for trainees and practicing radiologists
- Advocate for necessary resources for delivering quality emergency radiology services
- Foster research in all aspects of emergency radiology
CSAR
- Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of abdominal disease
- Provide access to medical education in the practice of abdominal radiology for trainees and practicing radiologists
- Promote excellence in research and best practices in abdominal radiology
- Play a leadership role in the development and updating of abdominal imaging guidelines, standards, and appropriateness criteria
- Foster an interest in abdominal radiology by providing mentorship opportunities and by development of a subspecialty curriculum at the annual CAR Annual Scientific Meeting
CSTR
- Promote the appropriate and safe use of radiological services
- Lead the development and updating of CAR driven thoracic imaging guidelines, standards, and appropriateness criteria
- Provide access to online educational content for trainees and practicing radiologists
- Organize educational and social events during the CAR Annual Scientific Meeting
CanSPR
- Promote the appropriate and safe use of radiological services in the patient-centered care of children
- Define principles of practice in the development of pediatric imaging guidelines, standards, and appropriateness criteria
- Provide access to medical education in the practice of pediatric imaging for trainees and practicing radiologists
- Advocate for appropriate resources (human and material) necessary for the delivery of quality pediatric imaging services to Canadian children wherever they are situated
- Encourage research in all aspects of pediatric imaging
