After four years of hard work and dedication, Dr. Matthew McInnes completed his inaugural term as Chair of the CAR Journal Committee. The committee provides strategic advice to the CAR Board related to the CAR Journal. We express our sincere gratitude to Dr. McInnes. Under his leadership, the Committee has provided expert advice on the selection of a new publisher, SAGE, as well as the transition of two Editors in Chief.
In the last year, the Journal has reached new heights, with the most recent article downloads exceeding 13,000 – a record high.
“It was an honour to Chair the inaugural CAR Journal Standing Committee, formerly CAR Journal Working Group. With the support of the CAR Board, CAR Journal Editor in Chief, and the Editorial Board, the Journal has made tremendous progress. I am confident that the changes made have set the Journal on a trajectory of improvement. Editor in Chief, Dr. Michael Patlas, is a real asset to the CAR Journal; his tireless work and collaborative nature will ensure the Journal remains and becomes even more relevant to CAR members and beyond. Special thanks to all of the working group members (past and present) who have put in many volunteer hours. I am confident that the working group will continue to thrive under the leadership of Dr. Caroline Reinhold.” – Dr. Matthew McInnes
Taking over from Dr. McInnes is Dr. Caroline Reinhold as the incoming Chair of the CAR Journal Standing Committee.
