New Module on Rad Academy: Updated Clinical Practice Guideline on the Use of Gadolinium-Based Contrast Agents in Kidney Disease
Last month the Updated Clinical Practice Guideline on the Use of Gadolinium-Based Contrast Agents in Kidney Disease was released in the August 2019 issue of the CARJ. In collaboration with Dr. Nicola Schieda (The Ottawa Hospital and The University of Ottawa), the CAR has developed a complementary module to support the updated guideline and provide an overview of key takeaways. The module*, featured in the What’s New section of RAD Academy, highlights important updates to the CAR clinical practice guideline regarding the use of gadolinium-based contrast agents in renal dysfunction through interactive learning segments and case scenarios to demonstrate its applicability in practice.
