Musculoskeletal Radiologist (Locum) – Ottawa
The Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) is seeking a fellowship trained Musculoskeletal radiologist for a locum position to join the Musculoskeletal Imaging Section. The candidate will serve the three campuses of The Ottawa Hospital, the core adult teaching hospital for the University of Ottawa, and affiliated community hospitals and ancillary programs.
As a Section Member, the successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a highly efficient team for providing dedicated musculoskeletal expertise supporting strong programs in ER/trauma, orthopedic surgery, oncology, rheumatology, physiatry and sports medicine.
Broad diagnostic musculoskeletal skills in radiography and proficiency in performing a wide range of image guided interventional procedures including aspirations and arthrograms is required. Similar skills in MSK ultrasound, CT and MRI, proficiency in image-guided MSK biopsies, spinal injections and other image-guided procedures are also highly valued. Skills and/or interest in scholarly activity and research are required.
They will be expected to be a supportive team player, with a strong commitment to patient care, quality improvement, research, and teaching. The successful candidate will hold certification in Diagnostic Radiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or international equivalent.
