Interventional Radiologist - Thunder Bay The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) is currently seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to join our Physician group. Position Description: The radiologist will conduct both diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures, including angiography, dialysis fistula maintenance, and arterial stenting. Additionally, they will be tasked with reporting on a variety of diagnostic studies, such as X-rays, ultrasounds, MR's, and CT scans. Furthermore, they will work in conjunction with the Cardiovascular Program. Skills & Assets: The candidate will have specialist certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, or equivalent, and will be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Canadians and IMG (international Medical Graduates) candidates are all welcome to apply. The eligible candidate will be affiliated with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University, with academic rank commensurate with their qualifications and experience. We are looking for motivated individuals who wish to provide excellent clinical services in a collaborative and collegial work environment. Breast tomography skills are required. Contrast enhanced mammography is a welcome additional asset. We are looking for a candidate with leadership ability who is a self-starter and can further develop this sub-specialty practice. Neuroradiologist – Kingston | Kingston Health Sciences Centre

Diagnostic Neuroradiologist Department of Diagnostic Radiology Queen’s Health Sciences, Queen’s University Permanent Full-Time Academic Position WHO SHOULD APPLY?  The Department of Diagnostic Radiology within the School of Medicine, Queen’s Health Sciences at Queen's University and its affiliated teaching hospitals are seeking a full-time Academic Radiologist with MD or equivalent designation and Fellowship training in Neuroradiology. The preferred candidate will exhibit strong potential for innovative and scholarly research or will have an excellent track record of high quality research output that demonstrates potential for independent research. Interest in Endovascular Interventional Procedures are also considered an asset. Interventional Neuroradiology, Advanced Brain Tumour Imaging with MR Perfusion and Spectroscopy, and Epilepsy, and Head & Neck imaging are specific targeted growth areas within the institution. With the new 3T MRI, interest in functional MRI applications would be of value. Candidates must display evidence of an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment. With the academic component of this position, there is an expectation of participation in undergraduate medical education, residency training, and research. The successful candidate will also participate in the supervision of the Neuroradiology fellow. Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions. Clinical responsibilities would include Lumbar punctures and Spinal Procedures, Carotid and Transcranial Dopplers, Neck U/S, CT, and MRI Reporting, including Acute Stroke CT interpretation. Advanced MRI services provide at KHSC includes MR Perfusion, MR Spectroscopy and MR CINE imaging. There is a small yet significant Head and Neck Cancer Service. The Neuroradiology Section provides Diagnostic Pediatric Neuroradiology service as well. There is a strong collaboration with specialists through Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuropathology, Ophthalmology, Neuro Genetics, Neuro Science, Brain Tumour Multidisciplinary, and Head & Neck Multidisciplinary Rounds. Participation in the Neuroradiology On-call schedule will be required. KINGSTON HEALTH SCIENCES CENTRE OVERVIEW The Academic Radiologist will join 30 radiologists in the Department, who provide clinical service to a population of approximately 600,000 in Southeastern Ontario in two teaching hospitals, Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Providence Care. There are a total of 3 CT scanners at both hospital sites, including a recently installed DE Canon Aquilion ONE CT with full Cardiac imaging capabilities. There is a 1.5T Siemens MRI scanner and a recently installed state-of-the-art Siemens 3T VIDA MRI scanner. A breast MRI is soon to be installed. A PET-CT program will begin as of March 2025. There are two additional 1.5T Phillips MRI scanners in a community MRI practice. The Neuroradiology section also provide diagnostic neuroradiology service to Kingston MRI Inc., where there are two 1.5T Philips MRI scanners, responsible for a large volume of out-patient neuroimaging. Radiologist (FT/PT) – Timmins | Timmins and District Hospital (TADH)

Join our team in beautiful Northern Ontario! The Timmins and District Hospital (TADH) is recruiting for a full-time or part-time Radiologist to join our innovative, multi-disciplinary referral and teaching hospital in Timmins, Ontario, located in Northeastern Ontario. About the Timmins and District Hospital TADH is a 154-bed referral and teaching hospital. It offers multidisciplinary care in the areas of emergency, medical, surgical, critical care, maternity, newborn, pediatric, long-term care, and mental health services. TADH provides care to a catchment population of approximately 115,000 people. The Diagnostic Imaging Department is equipped with a fluoroscopy suite, several ultrasound machines, a 320 slice Canon CT and a 1.5T Siemens MRI unit. The department offers some minor non-vascular interventional services, which are assigned along with other diagnostic studies on a rotational basis. If not trained, willingness to participate and obtain training for CT colonography and BMD certification will be considered an asset. The Timmins and District Hospital supports approximately 95,000 annual diagnostic exams. TADH radiologists practice in a true consultative manner with the referring physicians and communities. Remote reading from outside of Timmins is not part of our practice. Position Requirements
  • Candidates must have Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Applicants must be eligible to be licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario and have Canadian Medical Protective Associate (CMPA) coverage
  • Established training and skills in reporting all imaging modalities including: x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to converse with clinicians and staff at different sites regarding patient care is essential
Incentives
  • The Timmins and District Hospital provides an incentive package up to $60,000 over four years.
  • Applicants are eligible for a repayable interest-free loan up to $150,000.
  • Applicants can apply for the Ministry of Health Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (N3R). The N3R Initiative includes an $84,718 incentive over a 4-year period for Canadian citizens and permanent residents who establish a practice in Timmins.

The Department of Medical Imaging at Ridge Meadows Hospital is seeking radiologists to join our vibrant and growing community practice, to commensurate with a new MRI service and expansion of existing modalities. Maple Ridge is one of the fastest growing communities in British Columbia, boasting beautiful natural surroundings with a variety of outdoor activities, a diverse population and excellent access to downtown Vancouver. Ridge Meadows Hospital is part of the Fraser Health Authority, consisting of 157 acute care beds and receiving over 43,000 Emergency Room visits annually. Time required: Negotiable. Call responsibilities are split amongst group members Application deadline: Rolling applications accepted. Daily duties include radiography, fluoroscopy, general ultrasound, diagnostic breast imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and a variety of image-guided procedures. Equipment currently consists of two dedicated DR radiography units, a Toshiba fixed-fluoroscopy C-arm unit, a GE portable ultrasound unit, four GE fully equipped clinical ultrasound units, a new GE 64-slice CT scanner, and a new, state-of-the-art 1.5T GE MRI unit that came into clinical service in Fall 2020. The Department is proud to be one of two early adoption sites for GE’s AIR ReconTM Deep Learning image reconstruction software. The group emphasizes evidenced-based practice, quality, strong communication, a collegial work environment, and scheduling flexibility. The successful candidates will be comfortable with general radiography and ultrasound, breast imaging, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, and basic interventional procedures. Eligibility for licensure by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia is required.   • Interpret and report on a broad range of imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound (general body, MSK, breast, obstetrical, and vascular), mammography (screening and diagnostic), fluoroscopy, and bone mineral densitometry.
  • Perform image-guided MSK and basic spine procedures for pain management, using fluoroscopy and ultrasound as applicable.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of technologists, nurses, medical office assistants, Radiologists, Cardiologists, Physiatrists, and Perinatologists to ensure efficient and well-structured workflows.
  • Develop strong relationships with referring physicians, building trust and confidence in CDC’s diagnostic and procedural expertise.
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring compassionate and effective communication to enhance the patient experience.
  • For sub-specialty-trained applicants, a limited volume of private MRI may be available.

  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Diagnostic Radiology, or equivalent.
