Job Summary
The Medical Imaging Program of NL Health Services, Urban Zone is seeking an Interventional Radiologist starting as early as May 1, 2025.
The successful candidate will join a group of 11 Radiologists working at St Clare’s Mercy Hospital. It is the tertiary site for the province for vascular surgery.
The Radiology Group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, Angio- interventional, Fluoroscopy, and general radiology. The successful candidate will be expected to work as a general radiologist. The candidate must have Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology. The IR practice is predominantly vascular intervention and experience in this area is preferred. There is a call expectation as well, currently call is approximately 1 week in 4 (will change as staffing levels fluctuate).
Required Qualifications
• To be considered candidates must hold a MD.
• Certification by the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (or equivalent) in Radiology.
• Interventional Radiology fellowship required.
• Must be eligible for licensure to practice by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL (CPSNL).
• Satisfy credentialing requirements of Eastern Health, including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
Hours of Work: 75 hours bi-weekly, plus on-call obligation
