Job Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Program of NL Health Services Urban Zone, invites expression of interest for a full-time Radiologist in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. All interested applicants are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity to join a well established practice of passionate and highly skilled radiologists, while living in a medium sized city which offers a fantastic balance of outdoor activities, culture and a great food scene.

The successful candidate will join a group of 40 Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians located in St. John’s providing tertiary care services to the local community and province. The group practice is affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Medicine and their Radiology Residency training program giving opportunities for research and teaching.

This radiology group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, Mammography, Angio interventional, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy and general radiology, with a full scope of image guided procedures.

The successful candidate will be expected to have fellowship training in body imaging and will work as a general radiologist with subspecialty exposure. There is a call expectation as well and responsibilities are shared with the Radiology Residents – currently call is approximately 1 in 12 (will change as staffing levels fluctuate), with an option to perform most call duties from home.
