How to Survive your Radiology Rotations Session and Guide
First year radiology residents share resources and tips for studying basic principles of radiology followed by a Q&A session on elective rotation tips. A guide summarizing various study resources will be published.

Cross Country Tour
Hosted annually in October, the Cross Country Tour is an online presentation of each radiology residency program from across Canada. These sessions featured live presentations from program directors & current residents as well as a Q&A period for medical students.

The Biannual Scan
This year’s new initiative, this newsletter targets medical students and includes upcoming MSN events, resources and advice for medical students, and opportunities to get involved in research projects.

The Second Read: Personal Letter/CV Review
New initiative for this year, this program provides an opportunity for final year medical students applying to radiology programs to have their personal letter and CV asynchronously and individually reviewed by radiology residents or staff radiologists for feedback. Occurs in early November.

Mentorship Program
A mentorship program for medical students to increase their exposure to radiology. Each student will be paired with a fellow or a radiology resident. This will allow medical students to ask questions and seek advice.

Mock Interview
Each January, radiology residents across Canada volunteer as mock interviewers for final year medical students to practice and obtain feedback to prepare for their CaRMS interviews.

RadGames
RadGames is a friendly virtual competition between different Canadian medical school campuses on image interpretation. Each team will be composed of 5-6 members. RadGames typically occurs in February or March each year.

Post CARMs Interview Panel
This is a virtual panel of recently matched radiology/nuclear medicine radiology residents to answer student questions about the CaRMs process and their decision to pursue a career in Radiology. Open Q&A format with breakout rooms for small group discussions. This session takes place in March/April each year.
