The CAR Gold Medal Award is presented to a long-time member of the CAR who has made outstanding contributions to the Association as well as to the profession of radiology in Canada. It is the CAR’s highest honour.
“I am honoured and humbled to receive the Gold Medal Award from the Canadian Association of Radiologists. I have been fortunate to collaborate with the CAR for over two decades and held multiple leadership positions including Abstract Chair, Program Chair, and Editor-in-Chief of the CARJ. It was an exciting journey which allowed me to meet many radiologists across the country who became lifelong friends and mentor numerous trainees. I encourage younger colleagues to volunteer for the CAR.”
