A prominent CAR member is being celebrated as one of the most “dynamic young Londoners” whose work moves the city forward.

Dr. Lindsay Milroy, neuroradiologist at London Health Sciences Centre and Assistant Professor at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, has been selected as one of London, Ontario’s 20 Under 40 class for 2026.

The 20 Under 40 list recognizes the work of London’s rising stars across a range of professions and applauds their efforts to give back to their community.

Dr. Milroy says she is deeply grateful for the honour and was surprised to hear she made the list.

“There are so many talented and driven individuals doing impressive work throughout our city, so to be nominated by a clinical colleague outside of radiology — and to be included among this group — is truly an honor,” she said. “More than anything, this recognition motivates me. It reinforces my responsibility to continue growing, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing in ways that create meaningful impact for our patients and our community in the years ahead.”

She is also extraordinarily grateful for the mentors, colleagues, and trainees that she has been privileged to work with and learn from.

“There have been so many people who have contributed to my growth and success that it’s difficult to single out just one. I’ve been fortunate to learn from mentors who model clinical excellence, integrity, and compassion — not only in how they practice medicine, but in how they lead and support others. This includes individuals such as Drs. McInnes, Hibbert, Torres, and Miller during my time in Ottawa; Drs. Murphy and Smith in Toronto; Dr. Pandey for welcoming me to London; and the trailblazing women in radiology I’ve met through organizations such as the Canadian Association of Radiologists and Canadian Radiology Women.”

She says above all, she would not be able to do her work without the constant support and encouragement from her husband and family.

“Any recognition I receive is truly a reflection of the people who have supported, taught, and worked alongside me in service of our patients and community.”

Dr. Milroy will be officially recognized at the 20 Under 40 Cocktail Gala on Thursday, March 12.
