The CAR was excited to once again meet with the international radiology community at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA)’s Annual Meeting in Chicago from November 30-December 4.
The event was an especially important occasion for Dr. Alison Harris, marking the first RSNA Annual Meeting for her as CAR President. “It was a privilege to represent the Canadian Association of Radiologists at multiple meetings with international societies and attend leadership events,” she said on LinkedIn. Dr. Harris took part in the International Trends meeting and met with the RSNA’s International Leadership.
While in Chicago, CAR leadership met with leaders and colleagues from the RSNA, the Royal College of Radiology (UK), the American College of Radiology (ACR), the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), and more.
Several Canadian radiologists contributed to the overall program agenda as session speakers and moderators in various areas of expertise like sustainability, neuroradiology, and more. These included contributions from Dr. Iain Kirkpatrick, Dr. Ania Kielar, Dr. Kate Hanneman, Dr. Carlos Torres, Dr. Maura Brown, and many others.
We acknowledge and are grateful for the efforts made by our members who took the time to travel to Chicago, given the weather delays and air traffic complications. Thank you for representing Canada on the international stage!
