During the CAR 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting in Montreal, the Affiliate Societies held their business meetings and were pleased to announce new leadership for two societies.
The Canadian Society of Pediatric Radiology (CanSPR) and the Canadian Society of Skeletal Radiology (CSSR) have welcomed new Presidents and Vice-Presidents as they begin their terms. The CAR is proud to introduce these new leaders and extends its warmest congratulations as they step into their roles.
We would also like to recognize and thank the outgoing Presidents, who now assume the role of Past-President within their respective societies: Drs. Elka Miller (CanSPR) and Viviane Khoury (CSSR), for their leadership, dedication, and valuable contributions.
Dr. Katya Rozovsky will serve as President of the CanSPR, with Dr. Neetika Gupta as Vice-President.

Dr. Neetika Gupta
Vice-President
I am honoured to serve as President of the Canadian Society of Pediatric Radiology (CanSPR). I look forward to working closely with our Executive Committee and members across the country to continue advancing excellence in pediatric imaging, and I am grateful to be part of such a dedicated and collaborative community.
Our focus will be on supporting high-quality education, fostering collaboration, mentorship, research, and advancing the development of evidence-based guidelines that promote consistency and excellence in care for children. In the coming year, I am particularly committed to strengthening connections with small hospitals and rural communities, helping ensure that children across Canada benefit from high standards of pediatric imaging, regardless of where they live. I will also continue to prioritize strengthening our national network and advocating for the unique needs of pediatric imaging within the broader radiology community.
I am excited for the work ahead and for the opportunity to build on the strong foundation established by our previous leadership.

Dr. Adnan Sheikh will serve as President of the CSSR, with Dr. Linda Probyn as Vice-President.

Dr. Linda Probyn
Vice-President
I am truly honored to step into the role of President of the Canadian Society of Skeletal Radiology at this important stage in the society’s growth.
As a relatively young society, we have already benefited from the vision and dedication of our founding leadership, whose efforts have established a strong and collaborative foundation. It is a privilege to build on this early momentum and help guide our next phase of development.
Looking ahead, my priorities will focus on advancing education, fostering meaningful research, and strengthening national and international collaborations. I am particularly passionate about supporting trainees, fellows, and early career radiologists, expanding access to high quality musculoskeletal imaging education, and embracing innovation that enhances patient care.
Equally important is our commitment to building an inclusive and engaged community, one that encourages mentorship, knowledge sharing, and professional growth across all stages of practice.
I look forward to working closely with our executive team and members as we continue to grow and elevate musculoskeletal radiology in Canada and beyond.
