As an Interventional Radiologist at St. Paul’s Hospital, you will join an existing team of 3 IRs in performing a wide range of image-guided procedures, including vascular and nonvascular interventions, biopsies, drainages, tumor ablations, and other advanced therapeutic techniques. Vascular work is inclusive of, but not limited to, arterial and venous recanalization, angioplasty and stenting, vascular access for dialysis and fistula interventions. IVUS is also available in addition to catheter directed thrombolysis for arterial and venous thrombosis. There is a strong Interventional Oncology program in Saskatoon, including TACE, RFA, Microwave ablation and IRE. Advanced Hepatobiliary work includes TIPS and BRTO forms an exciting component of our service.
City-wide call service is on a shared basis and is currently at a 1:6 which provides good work-life balance.
Candidates must be fellowship-trained and eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan, ideally holding FRCPC designation.
