A new library of lung cancer screening cases is now fully available online.
CAR CPD has officially launched the Lung Cancer Screening Library to help CAR members meet accreditation standards. The development of the library is thanks to the hard work and dedication of the CAR’s Lung Cancer Screening CPD Working Group. The project was possible through the support of an unrestricted education grant from the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC).
The library allows radiologists to practice the interpretation and diagnosis of images for lung cancer screening using the ACR Lung-RADS (2022) classification system. ). It includes cases from all categories , including the S modifier, with more cases to be added in 2026. Cases are presented in a quiz format and requires users to determine the appropriate Lung‑RADS category based on their findings.
Cases are presented to participants in sets of 10 with the option to retake as many times as desired, with a new set of cases presented each time.
