CARJ Reviewer Mentorship Program

Canadian Association of Radiologists Journal (CARJ) Editorial Board and Standing Committee Members will mentor radiology residents currently training in a Canadian residency program. Each mentor will help a resident mentee to draft four reviews of original research manuscripts per year in the mentor’s area of subspecialty expertise. Both mentor and mentee will receive a credit for the review.

The two major tenets of peer review are to evaluate the quality of the study design (e.g., are there significant sources of bias), and the completeness of reporting (e.g., has all data been presented to allow readers to determine bias and generalizability).
