Queen’s University is seeking a full-time Academic Radiologist with fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging. The successful candidate will provide diagnostic imaging services in abdominal radiology, participate in multidisciplinary oncology conferences, contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and engage in clinical and/or basic science research within an academic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret abdominal imaging studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and plain radiography; perform barium studies and CT colonography; participate in body imaging on-call coverage; attend multidisciplinary cancer conferences; collaborate with clinical teams in oncology, surgery, gastroenterology, gynecology, and urology; teach medical students and residents; and contribute to academic research activities.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- MD degree (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging
- Certification or eligibility for certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Demonstrated interest in teaching, research, and collaborative clinical practice.
