Main Ultrasound is seeking a remote radiologist to support interpretation of general ultrasound and early pregnancy (first trimester) studies, with flexibility in scheduling and workflow.
We are a growing community-based imaging clinic in Hamilton, Ontario, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, and general ultrasound. Our clinic is supported by a highly experienced team of sonographers with a strong emphasis on image quality, standardized protocols, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Interpretation and reporting of:
- General ultrasound studies (abdominal, pelvic, small parts as applicable)
- Early obstetrical ultrasound (first trimester) including:
- Viability assessments
- Dating scans
- Assessment of early pregnancy complications
- Correlation with clinical history and requisition details
- Participation in maintaining high-quality, standardized reporting
- Approx. 15–25 studies per week (flexible and scalable based on availability)
Efficient, tech-driven workflow with:
- High-quality imaging and complete protocols
- Clear requisitions and clinical indications
- Expected report turnaround: within 24–48 hours
- Direct communication pathway for urgent findings
- Licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology (FRCPC or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in:
- General ultrasound interpretation
- First trimester obstetrical imaging
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality reporting standards
