Canadian Diagnostic Network isseeking a qualified Breast Imaging Radiologist to join its team. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care through the interpretation and diagnosis of breast imaging studies. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in breast imaging and a commitment to continuous professional development.
This Position can be remote or onsite, full time or part time. We can work around your personal case load goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and diagnose breast imaging studies, including mammography (2D and 3D tomosynthesis), and ultrasound
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols and standards, includingparticipation in OBSP (Ontario Breast Screening Program)
- Communicate imaging results, provide management recommendations, and recommend timely follow-up care
- Stay current with advancements and guidelines in breast imaging through continuing education
- Collaborate with technologists to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to optimize diagnostic accuracy and patient safety
Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
- Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Advanced proficiency in interpreting tomosynthesis (3D mammography)
- Active Ontario medical license in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Membership in professional organizations such as the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) or Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) (preferred)
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence
