In this webinar, participants will learn about sustainable healthcare and the environmental impact of diagnostic radiology. Powering medical imaging equipment is energy-intensive and contributes to climate crisis by generating greenhouse gas emissions and waste. Mitigation strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve net-zero, environmentally sustainable radiology departments, are urgently needed. Tools for change will be discussed and concrete examples provided on how radiologists can implement evidence-based changes that lead to a climate-resilient healthcare system.
