Queen’s University is seeking a full-time Academic Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a team of dedicated breast imaging specialists. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast MRI, and image-guided interventions. The role includes participation in multidisciplinary breast cancer care, medical education, research, and academic program development within a state-of-the-art regional Breast Imaging Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation of screening and diagnostic breast imaging studies, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures; participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer rounds and radiology-pathology conferences; contribute to women’s imaging services including gynecologic and obstetrical ultrasound; participate in departmental on-call coverage; teach medical students, residents, and future fellows; and engage in research, innovation, and academic program development.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- MD degree (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Fellowship training and expertise in Breast Imaging
- Certification or eligibility for certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, and collaborative patient-centered care
