Pembroke Regional Hospital
The department of Diagnostic Imaging at Pembroke Regional Hospital is currently recruiting a general radiologist for a full-time or part-time permanent position.
The successful candidate will be joining a group of 6 radiologists and practice in a friendly, collegial facility, with state-of-the-art equipment. The successful candidate is expected to be proficient in all major modalities, including fluoroscopy, US, CT, and MRI. Training and/or experience in MSK or Neuro imaging would be an asset.
Our department has a very strong relationship with the referring services in the hospital. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with other physicians.
The candidate must hold a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be licensed in the province of Ontario.
Pembroke is a community approximately 90 minutes from Ottawa and located on the Ottawa River. Countless outdoor activities are available in the community and surrounding area. The river offers recreational boating, fishing and swimming throughout the summer. There are excellent trails available year round for hiking, biking, walking, snowshoeing and skiing. Cost of living in Pembroke is very reasonable. The successful candidate would be expected to happily relocate to Pembroke and become a member of the community.
