2018 Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Radiologists (ACLS-r) Simulation Workshop

You are in the hospital radiology department when one of your patients suffers cardiopulmonary arrest during a radiological exam. You may only have seconds to save his life. Do you know what to do?
The Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Radiologists (ACLS-r) course is specially designed by radiologists for radiologists, and is offered in a simulation workshop setting. Participants learn life-saving skills such as CPR that can be applied in a medical imaging setting.
Participants who successfully complete this course receive a BCLS and ACLS certificate issued by the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Time and date
This is a two-day course that will take place on:
Monday, April 23 - 4:45 pm to 8:30 pm
Tuesday, April 24 - 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Dinner is included on April 23.
Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks are included on April 24.
Course materials will be provided prior to the course in the registrant's preferred training language and will include:
- 2015 ACLS Provider Manual
- 2015 Handbook of Emergency Cardiovascular Care for Healthcare Providers
- 2015 Basic Life Support: Provider Manual
The course will take place at the Université de Montréal's state-of-the-art simulation-based training centre: Centre d’apprentissage des attitudes et habiletés cliniques de la Faculté de Medecine de l’Université de Montréal.
